4.Rights and duties of users

The information on this site is the property of cosy meeting center.

No part of the information may be copied without the consent of cosy meeting center. Users are responsible for the questions they formulate as well as for the interpretation and use they make of the results. It is their responsibility to use the data in accordance with the regulations in force and the recommendations of the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) when the data is of a personal nature.

In particular, they must be aware that the information must only be used for strictly personal purposes, that the capture of screens for the purpose of reconstituting or enriching a nominative database is contrary to French law and therefore prohibited, as is use for commercial or advertising purposes.

In accordance with law no. 2004-801 of 6 August 2004 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, amending law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, this site has been declared to the CNIL (declaration in progress). Legal texts (available on the CNIL website: www.cnil.fr ) law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, relating to information technology, files and freedoms, known as the Information Technology and Freedoms law, CNIL Deliberation no. 81-94 of 21 July 1981 adopting a recommendation relating to general security measures for information technology systems, law no. 88-19 of 5 January 1988 relating to information technology fraud, known as the Godfrain law.

All reproduction rights are reserved, including for downloadable documents and iconographic and photographic representations.

Any extraction and/or reproduction of a substantial part of the information published on the site is forbidden without the prior authorisation of cosy meeting center and constitutes an infringement sanctioned by articles L.335-2 and following of the Intellectual Property Code.

The Intellectual Property Code specifies that the source must be cited or the authorisation of the author of the images must be requested. It only applies in the context of respect for copyright. As a creation of the mind, images (even screen copies) are therefore protected by copyright (art. L112-2-9 of the Intellectual Property Code).

The fact of reproducing or representing, without authorisation, images, texts or documents is punishable under civil law by an order to pay damages. These damages are calculated on a case-by-case basis. It depends on the victim’s loss of earnings, the damage suffered due to the distortion of the way the site is presented and the repercussions that the author of the site may have had, the way in which the image was put forward and the financial benefit that it may have brought to the designer.
